Joyo Bank is allowed to establish a representative office in Hanoi

On February 9th, 2018, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued License No. 33/GP-NHNN allowing Joyo Bank Limited (Joyo Bank) to establish a representative office.
Accordingly, the SBV Governor allowed Joyo Bank (headquartered in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan) to set up a representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam with the following names and addresses:
Vietnamese name: Văn phòng đại diện Ngân hàng TNHH Joyo tại thành phố Hà Nội; English name: The Joyo Bank, Ltd. Hanoi City Representative Office; Office location: Hanoi City, Vietnam; Operation duration: 05 years.
Contents of operation include: Functioning as a liaison office; market research; promoting investment projects of Joyo Bank in Viet Nam; promoting and monitoring the implementation of contracts and agreements signed between Joyo Bank, Ltd. with Vietnamese credit institutions and enterprises, projects sponsored by Joyo Bank, Ltd. in Vietnam; Other activities in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law.
In the course of operation, The Joyo Bank, Ltd. Hanoi City Representative Office shall comply with Vietnamese law.
License No. 33/GP-NHNN takes effect from the signing date./.
