VDB Study Visit to the United States on Development Bank Models and Infrastructure Financing
From late September to early October 2026, a delegation from the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), led by Mr. Le Van Hoan – Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with representatives of several units under the Ministry of Finance, including the Department of Financial Institutions and the National Institute for Economics and Finance, undertook a study visit to the United States to support VDB’s restructuring in the next phase. The program focused on exchanges with World Bank (WB) experts on international experience in restructuring development banks, good practices in governance and operations, infrastructure financing solutions, and private capital mobilization; while also providing opportunities to examine the operating model of a local development bank and explore investment cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and the United States.

VDB Receives International Award for Infrastructure Development
From September 21 to 26, 2026, a delegation of Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) attended the 49th Annual Meeting of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. At the meeting, VDB received an award in the Infrastructure Development category of the Outstanding Development Projects Awards 2026.
