State investment credit contract signed to finance Song Lo 3 hydropower project

On May 21, 2025, VDB’s Ha Giang branch and Xuan Thien Ha Giang Company Limited have signed a state investment credit contract to finance the Song Lo 3 hydropower project with an amount of more than VND642 billion and with term of 22 years.
Being in group C, at level II, III for hydropower construction size, the Song Lo 3 hydropower project is expected to be completed and in commercial power generation in June 2027. Located in Ngoc Linh and Dao Duc communes, Viet Lam farm town, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province, an area with particularly difficult socio-economic condition, having 02 turbines installed, the project has power generation capacity of 22MW, making an output (Eo) of 69.338 million kWh/year. In operation, it will increase revenue for the state budget, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality./.
