The credit of the whole system has increased by about 11.5%, as compared to the credit growth target of 14% set out in the orientations for the whole system in 2022. Therefore, the credit institutions still have room to further their credit growth, meeting the capital demands of the people and enterprises, contributing to the economic growth.
The SBV has requested the credit institutions which still have remaining room for credit growth, to actively balance and arrange their capital sources, while still ensuring the safety ratios, in order to actively disburse more credit for production and business operations, especially into the priority fields such as agriculture and rural development, exports, small and medium-sized enterprises, support industries, high-tech companies and sectors which are the drivers for the economic growth in line with the Government's policy. However, the credit institutions must still ensure stable liquidity and safety in the banking operations, and strictly control credit for potentially risky areas.
In the coming time, depending on the actual developments of the entire system and the situation of each credit institution, the SBV may issue appropriate management measures to ensure alignment with the Government's policy./.
