The Dau Giay – Tan Phu Expressway is part of the Eastern North–South Expressway Plan. The section spans more than 60 kilometers with a total investment capital of 8.4 trillion VND, of which up to 4.975 trillion VND will be financed by VDB Dak Lak Branch. This credit source will ensure the timely progress and quality of project implementation, while highlighting VDB’s role in supporting the national strategic infrastructure projects.
Once completed, the expressway will ease congestion on National Highway 20, shorten travel time between Ho Chi Minh City – Dong Nai – Lam Dong – Central Highlands, thereby promoting socio-economic development, trade, and tourism across the entire region.
As part of the event, VDB signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Son Hai Group and Truong Hai Group. Under the agreement, VDB is expected to provide total credit financing of up to 100 trillion VND during 2025–2030, accompanying the two corporations in implementing numerous key transport infrastructure projects nationwide.
This long-term cooperation is greatly significant, not only providing the corporations with strong financial resources to implement large-scale projects, but also enhancing VDB’s role and position in the national development finance system.
Speaking at the ceremony, VDB’s leaders emphasized:
"Vietnam Development Bank will always stand alongside corporations in implementing strategic infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport sector. This large-scale credit financing demonstrates our commitment to working with the Government in building modern infrastructure and driving sustainable economic growth."
Representatives of Son Hai Group and Truong Hai Group affirmed that this cooperation will strengthen their financial capacity, ensure project progress, improve construction quality, and make positive contributions to socio-economic development, delivering tangible benefits to the community.
This event not only opens up opportunities for long-term cooperation but also creates a solid financial foundation for the development of national transport infrastructure, contributing to the realization of Vietnam’s goal of becoming a developed industrialized nation by 2045./.
