MOIT's commendation awarded to VDB's branch

The Thua Thien Hue’s branch of the Vietnam Development Bank has been awarded a commendation from Ministry of Trade and Industry for its outstanding contribution to the construction of A Luoi hydropower Plant which enhanced Vietnam power production.
The A Luoi hydropower project has capacity of 170 MW, owned by the Central Hydropower Joint Stock Company with total investment cost of VND 3.014 trillion, of which VND 1.656 trillion financed by Thua Thien- Hue’s branch of VDB. It is considered as a key project of Thua Thien-Hue area, providing important power supply source to these two provinces as well as the central area, promoting production and generating annually tens of billions of VND of tax to State Budget.
On this occasion, EVN has also commended 02 staffs of VDB’s branch of Thua Thien- Hue for their outstanding support to the project’s construction.
