The information was released at a regular press conference held by the State Bank of Viet Nam on May 28.
Total payment methods and capital mobilization saw respective rises of 5.28% and 4.2% from the end of 2013.
Loans reserved for rural development and agriculture were estimated at VND685,426 billion, up 2%.
During the first quarter of this year, loans for the supporting industry and the high-tech sector amounted to VND96, 424 billion and VND176,052 billion, up 0.92% and 5.9%, respectively.
Credits to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and exports saw increases of 0.34% and 5.9%, obtaining VND873,268 billion and VND176,052 billion, respectively.
With more than 8.6 million of customers, total credits given to poor households and social policy beneficiaries reached VND125,165 billion, up 2.8%./.
