On February 1st, 2015 the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee with Vung Ang Investment and Development Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of Lac Tien dam, canals and tunnels, components of the water supply project for Vung Ang Economic Zone.

    Located on an area of 2.428ha in Ky Anh district, Ha Tĩnh province, this water supply project has total investment of VND 4.400 trillion. It is owned by Hoanh Son group joint stock Company with exploitation time up to 70 years. (Vung Ang Investment and Development Joint Stock Company is Hoanh Son group’s member). Lac Tien dam, canals and tunnels are to drain water from Rao Tro river to Thuong lake and toTri river to serve the Vung Ang economic zone with capacity of 275.000m3/day.
     Being classified in the group A, the water supply project for Vung Ang Economic Zone is a experiment of the new financing scheme of PPP accroding to which private sector is main financing provider and that State goes along as supporter . Under the credit contract signed between the Vietnam Development Bank’s branch of Ha Tinh and Vung Ang Invesment and Development JSC, total commitment for the project is up to VND 1 trillion, the repayment term of 12 years./.
