VN to benefit from RoK-funded project to improve scientific skills

The Republic of Korea’s Government announced that from now to 2020, the nation will provide US$500 million in Official Development Assistance (ODA) for developing nations, including Viet Nam, according to Yonhap News Agency.

 Viet Nam will benefit from the  US$200 million sum which will be used for large projects to develop scientific skills. Other beneficiaries include Uzbekistan, Nepal, Ethiopia, Columbia, and Peru 

Meanwhile, US$200 million will be spent for improving girls’ lives and enhancing gender equality in education Nepal, Laos, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Uganda, Cote d’lvoire, Senegal, Tanzania, Jordan, Morocco, Bolivia and Ecuador.
In 2016, as much as US$80 million will be disbursed./.
