On April 17, 2019, the National Credit Information Center of Vietnam (CIC) issued Decision No.105/QD-TTTD on reducing the prices of the credit information provided by the CIC to the credit institutions, foreign bank branches and other organizations from May 1st, 2019.

Accordingly, the average reduction of CIC’s credit information products and services is 10% as compared to the current prices.
The CIC will continue to apply the preferential policy to some special organizations, for example, the prices applied for people’s credit funds, micro finance organizations will be equal to 20% of the prices applied for the credit insititutions for the same products. For Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP), the prices will be equal to 50% of the prices for the credit insituttions for the same products.
For other institutions that share credit information with the CIC, the prices for the CIC’s products and services are listed in Annex I of this Decision.
For other products and services agreed upon in existing valid contracts signed between the CIC and their clients, the CIC will reduce 10% of the prices as stated in the contracts.
In 2018, the CIC also had 2 price reductions for their products and services, one in January (down by 12%) and the other in September (down by 20%).
By utilizing the latest technologies in line with the international standards for better performance, the CIC is now able to improve the automation of real time professional processes and remarkably increase the amount of accessible information by the credit institutions. These achievements have created an important ground for the CIC to continue to reduce the prices of their products and services in May 2019./.
