The project approved by The Prime Minister, aims to strengthen the asphalt layer, and thus limits damage to National Road N 5 outskirt. Ministry of Transport is allowed to mobilize fund from VDB to fund the project. Loan repayment comes from fees collected at two toll fee stations on the road and from the National Fund for Road Maintenance.
The project consisting of 05 packages is to be completed by June 2013.
At the ceremony, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thang stressed that last years, VDB has disbursed about VND 95,000 billion for transport projects. By 2015, the Hanoi – Haiphong expressway project will be completed. With the National Highway 5, the new high way will make a ring in the north by connecting with Ha Noi – Lao Cai expressway and Ha Noi – Thai Nguyen expressways. Mr. Tran Ba Huan, Deputy General Director, committed that VDB would disburse 100% as the schedule to ensure the project completed as the schedule./.
