Vietnam and Kazakhstan are two members of the Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement while Kazakhstan is attracting financial enterprises to operate in the Astana International Financial Center.
Mr. Kairat Kelimbetov - Governor of AIFC highly appreciated Vietnam's development potentials in the field of investment in green technology, infrastructure development and financial technology and expressed his desire to establish relations with financial institutions in Vietnam, including VDB.
Mr. Kairat Kelimbetov - Governor of AIFC introduced the organization and activities of AIFC. AIFC was initiated and established by Kazakhstan in 2018 with the aim of attracting international trade and orientation to become an international financial center of Central Asia, connecting Central Asian countries, the Eurasian Economic Union, Middle East, Western China, Mongolia with European countries.
Currently, more than 1,200 companies from 64 countries registered as AIFC participants; including China Construction Bank, China Development Bank, CICC (Hong Kong) and Wood & Co (Czech Republic), etc.
Chairman Luong Hai Sinh expressed his pleasure to welcome the Governor and AIFC high-ranking delegation. VDB wishes to cooperate with large and prestigious international financial institutions. Regarding proposals for cooperation in the field of financial and investment activities, the Chairman assigned VDB's functional units to research and advise so that cooperation could be implemented within the functions and tasks of parties. /.
