Longer credit maturity for Coffee, cashew nut export

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has issued Decree No. 133/2013/ND-CP amending and supplementing Decree No. 54/2013/ND-CP dated May 22, 2013 on supplementing Decree No. 75/2011/ND-CP dated August 30, 2011 of the Government on State investment credit and export credit.

Accordingly, Decree 133/2013/ND-CP amending and supplementing Item 2 , Clause 2 , Article 1 of Decree No. 54/2013/ND-CP dated May 22, 2013 as follows : Export credit term can be up to 36 months (maximum loan maturity of 36 months) for coffee , processed cashew nuts, vegetables, fruits, aquatic products export companies. Eligible companies are those proven to be in loss in 2011 and 2012 and have failed to make repayment in accordance with credit contracts already signed with the Vietnam Development Bank.
The new decree takes effect from 18 October, 2013 .
