Inauguration of the first phase of An Hiep Water supply Plant

On 30th, July 2016, in An Hiep commune, Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province, Ben Tre water supply and drainage JSC has inaugurated the first phase of An Hiep Water supply Plant.
Located in An Hiep Industrial Zone, An Hiep water Plant for the first phase has a capacity of 15.000m3 per day and night. The total investment of this phase is about VND 277 billion receiving 65% financing from the French Development Agency through Vietnam Development Bank’s branch of Song Tien, the rest by investor equity as counterpart funding.
With two main components namely An Hiep water treatment plant and collection complex, An Hiep water supply project is one of the large-scale projects funded by French government’s ODA under the Mekong river delta urban water supply program. Thanks to it, the supply of fresh water for production and local people’s daily life is improved, thus promoting social - economic development in Ben Tre province. /.
