ODA on-lending for Thai Nguyen water supply system development project

Under MOF’s authorization, in accordance with the No.3251-VIE loan financed by Asian Development Bank to Vietnam water supply development program, the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB), has on-lent ODA loan to component project to develop the water supply system of Thai Nguyen city.
On June 25, 2020, VDB’s Bac Kan - Thai Nguyen area branch and Thai Nguyen Clean Water Joint Stock Company have signed a mortgage contract to take as collateral asset to be formed from project of Thai Nguyen City water supply system with a capacity of 52,500 m3/day and night. This project has total investment of VND639,5 billion.
Once completed, the project will improve the water quality, enhance the coverage network, local people will have better access to water supply service./.
