Mr.Vuong The Man - Director of Lai Chau Department of Industry and Trade, representatives of departments, services and credit institutions of Lai Chau province, Mr. Pham Duong Linh – member of the standing Committee of the Party at VDB, VDB’s Board of Directors member and some others have attended the ceremony.
At the conference, Decree No. 78/2023/ND-CP dated November 7, 2023 of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 32/2017/ND-CP dated March 31, 2017 of the Government on State investment credit; Lending regulations implemented by VDB... were introduced to companies and investors.
Also at the conference, a credit contract was signed between VDB’s area branch of Dien Bien - Lai Chau and Thanh Phat Sin Ho hydropower Joint Stock Company to finance the Nam Cay hydropower project.
Located in Sa De Phin, Ta Ngao and Chan Nua communes, Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province, an area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, Nam Cay hydropower project has a total installed capacity of 15 MW, an average annual electricity output (Eo) of 50.447 million kWh/year. Its objective is to provide electricity to the national grid, contributing to socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the area, serving industrialization and modernization process of the country, creating jobs for local area. With total investment of about VND 597 billion, of which VND 400 billion from state investment credit having maturity of nearly 17 years and interest rate of 6.92%, this is the second credit contract in Lai Chau province to be funded by VDB under scheme of Decree No. 78/2023/ND-CP dated November 7, 2023 of the Government./.
