SIGNING CEREMONY OF CREDIT AGREEMENTS FOR FINANCING TWO POWER PROJECTS OF EVNNPT

On April 1, 2026, in Da Nang, Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) – Da Nang branch and the National power transmission corporation (EVNNPT) signed credit agreements to finance two power grid projects.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dac Quang, Director of VDB – Da Nang branch; and Mr. Le Xuan Hoa, Director of the Central power project management board, representing EVNNPT.

The two financed power grid projects include: the 220kV Bo Y Substation and the 220kV Bo Y – Kon Tum transmission line project, with a total investment of over VND 789 billion, of which VDB will provide a loan of VND 546 billion with a term of 12 years. The project is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2026 and be completed in the third quarter of 2027; and the 220kV Phu My – Phuoc An branching line to Quang Ngai (Circuit 2) project, with a total investment of over VND 133 billion, of which VDB will lend VND 93.465 billion. The project is expected to be completed and energized in 2026.
These projects play an important role in enhancing power supply capacity and improving the reliability of the power system in the Central and Central Highlands regions, while also supporting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and energy security./.
