The STP has 09 participants coming from different financing development institutions (DFIs), official members of ADFIAP, such as Bank Simpanan Nasional (Malaysia), Oman Development Bank (Sultanate of Oman), National Development Bank of Palau (Republic of Palau) and representative of ADFIAP Secretariat from Philippines.
The program co-organized by ADFIAP and Microfinance and Community Development Institute (MACDI). It was designed to give participants an experiential knowledge about microfinance and community development in Vietnam as well as the solutions and initiatives of Vietnamese DFIs supporting poor people and contributing to develop national economy. The STP delegation also had working sessions with State Bank of Vietnam, VDB, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, TYM Fund, MFCDI Fund…
At VDB, representative of VDB made a presentation of VDB’s role as a development bank, its lending procedures, its development strategy to 2020 as well as its initiatives to support SME through credit guarantee programs and other activities. The delegates highly appreciated VDB’s experience. They actively exchanged and shared experiences with VDB members about supporting measures for SMEs in their own insitutions.
At the end of the meeting, representative of ADFIAP Secretariat had a speech to appreciate the STP in VDB, simultaneously deeply thanked VDB members for their valuable supports for this program, confirmed sustainable relation among 2 institutions and expected more efficient technical assistant programs in the future.
