Have attended the event CEOs and senior officers of 65 ADFIAP member-institutions from more than 20 countries.
The conference theme “Dissecting Development Bank & Their Operating Environment: Current Status and Future Trends” was appreciated as innovative and practical by ADFIAP members. It has 4 plenary sessions with financial inclusion, infrastructure finance, green finance and development banking in the future. Deputy Minister of Ministry of Economy has made an opening remarks under authorization of Russian Prime Minister.
At the meeting, ADFIAP members shared the ideas that development financing institutions deserve recognition as of their increasingly important role in ensuring the real economy’s access to long term financial resources both at the national and regional level.
VDB as Board member of ADFIAP, has shared its experience about financing mechanism of infrastructure projects in Vietnam, its achievements and future strategy. VDB has solemnly confirmed that by Prime Minister’s approval, it would host 38th ADFIAP Annual Meeting in 2015
Representatives of VDB delegation have introduced about Vietnam, VDB operations, Nha Trang city and VDB Training Center, where will be 38th ADFIAP Annual Meeting in 2015. Delegates appreciated the presentation of VDB and expressed their willingness to come to Vietnam next year. The fact of hosting this Annual Meeting in 2015 will create opportunities for VDB to exchange information with other member-institutions and seek for chances to finance development projects. This goes in lines with missions and functions of VDB, as a Government policy bank.
Finally, in Handover Ceremony, VEB handed over to VDB - host of 38th ADFIAP Annual Meeting in 2015 the turnover flag, therefore, expecting many efficient sustainable cooperation opportunities among international financial institutions in the future.
