The under ground tunnel component has a total investment of VND193 billion. It is buitl with 1.972 meters long, 3.2 meters width and 3.2meters high. The construction has started since March, 2013 by Vung Ang Investment and Development Joint Stock project’s owner.
Being one of the important items of the project, the tunnel drains water from the Upstream channel down through the Downstream channel to Thuong lake, Tri river to supply water for the Vung Ang economic zone. The project is expected to complete and in operation in 2014.
Before that, on September 20th, 2013, Ha Tinh branch of the Vietnam Developmetn Bank and Vung Ang Investment and Development Joint Stock Company signed a credit contract to develop water supply system in Vung Ang economic zone with total commitment up to VND 1 trillion, the repayment term of 12 years. /.
