On July 14th , 2014, at the kick off meeting of the project “ Consulting on credit evaluation system of VDB”, Mrs. Dao Dung Anh, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) and Mrs. Hyeonjeong Lee, Project Team Leader of Kexim have signed the Aide Memoire for the project in the witness of representatives from VDB, The Export – Import Bank of Korea ( Kexim) and Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT). This project is implemented within the framework of knowledge sharing program (KSP) in 2014.

KSP is the cooperation program between the Ministry of Finance and Strategy Korean and the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam started by 2006 , in which VDB is one of  major beneficiaries. The program has a variety of activities such as workshops, surveys and study tours for VDB staff to exchange management experience with Korean experts in the field export credit, investment credit, Guarantee, export credit insurance. Their objectives are to improve procedures and regulations of credit management activities of the VDB. 

In 2014, this project has been approved by Korean government. Kexim is appointed as a coordinator and KODIT as consultant on credit evaluation system in the field of the credit guarantee activity and systematic risk management.

The expected outcome of the project is to develop credit evaluation system and relevant  IT infrastructure in VDB to serve for its credit guarantee activity. The project will be started by July and end as December 2014.
