On July 18, 2019, Vietnam Development Bank’s Son La branch and Moc Chau Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company have signed ODA on-lending contract for the urban water supply and drainage system project in Moc Chau district.

The project includes water supply and drainage components. The drainage facililty consists of waste water treatment stations with a total capacity of 4,500m3 /per day and night and the water supply facility’s capacity is 5.800m3 /per day and night.
Funded from Korean ODA, state budget and provincial budget, once operation, the project’s output will serve households in Moc Chau district, Son La province.
By the signed contract, VDB’s Son La Branch will on lend  Korean ODA to the Water Supply Component with a provisional amount of USD 2.594.324 for a tenor 15 years ending by 2035. Once completed, the project will improve the urban technical infrastructure system in compliance with the approved construction plan directives, ensuring the sustainable socio-economic development objectives achievement, improving living standards and environmental sanitation conditions for people in the area./.
