The theme for this year’s event was: “Despite a marked slowdown in international trade, members within the leading cross-border trade and economic growth region of the world are well-positioned to lead global trade in the years to come”. All AEBF members had bilateral meetings to exchange information, share cooperation opportunities as well as presentations focusing on the main topic.
At the meeting, Heads of AEBF members signed the Membership Protocol, updated on the admission of Export Credit Bank of Turkey to become the 11th official member. The parties also signed the Endorsement of Credit Line Facility Framework Agreement - a common template developed by all members, as the basis for specific agreements later.
At the conclusion of the meeting, EFIC handed over the right to host the next AEBF Annual Meeting to Export-Import Bank of Thailand, scheduled to take place in Phuket, Thailand in 2018./.
